In this beautiful game of football, there are supporters of the game from all walks of life. These walks of life range from the poor to the mega rich, from working-class to oligarchs. Every single fan in the world has a different view on football, which makes this beautiful game so fascinating and intriguing. However, there has been a trend in the last couple of years of comparing football leagues to each other, which is not what football is about. Football is about enjoying the game, not denigrating leagues to the extent that they do not exist. In South Africa (where we reside), we are surrounded by a predominantly English Premier League football loving market, in which denigration of leagues outside of this league has reached an alarming rate. Opinions have become uninformed, due to the near Biblical stature of the EPL in which other opinions of leagues have been tossed aside. This is a problem that we feel needs to be rectified.
The aim of the blog is to provide fans of football information and education on all of the leagues in the world, not just the EPL. We will keep readers informed on the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, Portuguese Super Liga, Dutch Eredivisie, Brazilian and Argentinian leagues, and many more. The website will provide a weekly feature on some of the best players in the world right now as well as young and potential great players.
